Recipients of the Canadian Society of Hospital Medicine 2009 Award of Clinical Excellence
We are seeking dedicated hospitalists to join our well-established Department of Hospital Medicine Program. Our service-oriented team provides high-quality MRP care to medical inpatients, consultative support to surgical inpatients and well newborn care. The program serves as a teaching site for medical students and residents from McMaster University. In addition, our hospitalists are involved with hospital committees, utilization management strategies and patient safety initiatives.
Positions available:
- Temporary full-time Hospitalist - 6 months effective immediately
- Regular full-time Hospitalist - Starting June 14,2010
- Nocturnists - Regular night shifts available 5:00 pm to 8:00 am

We require the following:
- Current College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario License in good standing,
- Family Physician or specialist, ACLS Certification,
- Interest and expertise in the care of the adult general medical inpatient.
