Be a full or part-time Primary Care Physician in Guelph You are invited to consider an opportunity to take over half of an established Family Practice in Guelph, Ontario while the solo practitioner, Dr. Jennifer Caspers, reinvents her career to take on a half-time hospital administration role. She has a stable 1,900-person patient roster and works as a solo practitioner surrounded by approachable specialists, laboratory, pharmacy and nuclear imaging in a well-kept medical building. The office is well-designed and equipped with user-friendly Practice Solutions EHR, well-trained and extremely pleasant and professional nursing and reception staff and a practice population that is primarily university-based families. The choice is yours as to whether you want to do hospital care. Dr. Caspers is a part of a supportive and very capable twenty-six physician Family Health Organization (FHO) spread out around the city - on-call is minimal and involves a 5 - 8 p.m. clinic every month or so with patients referred to you by the Telehealth RN screener. The opportunity exists to walk into this already established practice in the marvelous and vibrant university city of Guelph - close to Toronto but minutes from a variety of outdoor activities in the area. The second opportunity is described as follows: A unique opportunity awaits you! Currently, a half-time position is available as a Hospitalist in St. Joseph's Health Centre, Guelph (St. Joe's). In addition, a half-time position in an established Family Practice in Guelph is also available. Work fulltime by combining the two positions or part-time by selecting one or the other. The choice is yours! At St. Joe's, you will be responsible for the medical management of patients in the hospital within its Complex Continuing Care program.
