Guelph General Hospital is looking for a full time Hospitalist to join our well-established Department of Hospital Medicine Program. Started in 2002, our Hospitalist program is well developed, collegial and has great specialist support from Internal Medicine, Surgery, Pediatrics, and the allied health team.

The program serves as a satellite teaching rotation for medical students and residents from McMaster University. In addition, our hospitalists are involved with hospital committees, utilization management strategies and patient safety initiatives.

We provide competitive compensation, a collegial and supportive team environment and generous time-off.

We require the following:

  • Current College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario license in good standing
  • Family physician or specialist, ACLS certification
  • Interest and expertise in the care of the adult general medical inpatients
