Representatives of TD Canada Trust and Guelph General Hospital celebrate TD's gift of $100,000 to the Foundation's $6 million MRI & More campaign. TD's gift will be used to support education activities in the hospital. Maria Pena, a GGH nurse and one of the recipients of funding from TD's last gift, was on hand to express appreciation. TD Grants in Medical Excellence funding enabled Maria to undertake a 450-hour fellowship through the Registered Nurses Association of Ontario. Maria focused her studies on workplace safety. Other fellowships funded by TD have focused on organ donation and paediatric mental health.
