Guelph General Hospital is committed to being accountable to the community we serve. There are many ways of doing so.

The Canadian Institute for Health Information's web site features performance indicators for hospitals, regions and provinces.

The Provinces's Green Energy Act 2009 requires public agencies including hospitals to report on their energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions annually beginning in 2013. A five-year energy Conservation and Demand Management plan starting in 2014 must also be developed. Click here.

Health Quality Ontario has a web site that gathers together various hospital patient safety indicators.

Guided by the Ontarians with Disabilities Act, 2001, Guelph General Hospital created a multi-year Accessibility Plan.
