New state-of-the-art operating room to be built |

On April 11, Liz Sandals, Guelph-Wellington MPP was at GGH to announce funding to build a new Hybrid Operating Room. The Hybrid OR will accommodate a full range of vascular surgery procedures. Hopefully by next Spring, patients will no longer have to leave Guelph for some complex vascular procedures. The Hybrid OR will not only serve over 500 patients a year in Waterloo-Wellington but also reduce wait times for this much-needed service.

Public Sector Salary Disclosure 2011 |

The Public Sector Salary Disclosure Act, 1996 is intended to make Ontario's public sector more open and accountable to taxpayers. This act requires organizations that receive public funding from the Province of Ontario to disclose annually the names, positions, salaries and total taxable benefits of employees paid $100,000 or more in a calendar year.
