GUELPH, ON, Jan. 14 – The Guelph General Hospital’s Board of Commissioners recently announced the appointment of Dr. Jennifer Caspers as Chief of Staff. Dr. Caspers has been serving as Interim Chief for the past eleven months and for four years prior to that as Deputy Chief of Staff. 

"The Board is delighted to put its support behind the selection of Dr. Caspers," said GGH Board Chair Peter Ferraro. "We believe she will continue to make a valuable contribution to our hospital."

"I am very much looking forward to taking on this challenge," said Dr. Caspers. "There are a remarkable group of physicians, midwives and dental surgeons in our hospital who provide extremely high quality care to the patients of Guelph and Wellington County. I want to do everything I can to make sure that continues. I count myself extremely fortunate to be working with a superb Senior Management Team and a very engaged group of Physician Departmental leaders."
