Fundraising that is accountable, responsible, transparentWe manage our fundraising costs wisely. The result is that our expenses are well within acceptable guidelines. Last year, we raised $2.3 million in donations. Our cost per dollar raised was 19.7 cents. Stated another way, the return on fundraising investment was 507%. Over our 20-year history, $34 million has been raised at an overall cost of 15.7 cents per dollar raised. We’re proud of our record and of our transparency. Where our revenue came from last year: $2 million was provided to Guelph General Hospital! Over the last two years, one in every two dollars spent by GGH on capital equipment has come from a donor. The equipment these funds will purchase helps the hospital staff provide excellence in health care to our community every day. It helps the Guelph General Hospital team saves lives…it makes a critical difference to the thousands of community members who pass through Guelph General Hospital’s doors each year.
