Fundraising that is accountable, responsible

We manage our fundraising costs wisely. The result is that our expenses are among the lowest for non-profit organizations. Which means 85 cents of every dollar you donate directly supports Hospital expansion, programs, purchase of equipment or technology, and/or resources.

Where our revenue comes from:

We transferred $2.0 million to the Hospital for various equipment purchases! The vast majority of this - $1.7 million – was from our MRI & More campaign. To date, close to $3 million has been transferred to GGH for MRI & More campaign projects. This means the MRI scanner is just about paid for. This year, campaign funds we receive will pay for the Emergency Department changes, with the vascular surgery project being funded after that.

Other equipment purchased included:

IV pumps
Computer for children with diabetes
Transport isolette with cart, to transfer critically ill newborns
Vital signs monitor
Ice machine
Staff education
Dopplers to measure blood flow in arms and legs
CPR manikin for training

This equipment makes a difference, each and every day. It helps our caregivers care for each patient who comes through our doors – be it for a routine, planned surgery, a life threatening emergency or a diagnostic test. Over 100,000 community members come to our Hospital each year for care – donor support, your support – helps us help them.
